My first day at TechBuzz Hub began in a rather unforgettable way. My morning began with heavy downpour as I made my way to the hub . Despite weather conditions, the journey felt more symbolistic that growth always begins with challenges. With determination I continued to the hub to face the new chapter I was starting and excited about the new experience that awaited for me.

Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by Mr. Keneth the CEO of TechBuzz Hub, then after a few minutes in the beautiful walls of the hub the program kicked off with an introduction from the team at TechBuzz Hub then followed by my fellow trainee where we introduced ourselves our interests, education background and what are our expectations in the new chapter we starting in our different fields .

Then Madam Grace took us through the GPAP presentation, it was really an engaging session where we got to understand how the program is designed and ran to impact the young professionals with practical skills and world exposure transitioning from the school mindset to the work world. Her being one of the beneficiaries of the program really made me mirror myself for the opportunity I have at hand. She also encouraged us to approach the program with positivity.

After Madam Grace took us through the session ,it was time for Mr. Keneth to take us through the history and vision of the hub and the GPAP program. I got to know the core values of the hub and its impact. One of the eye catching topics I took home immediately was finding my purpose, demonstrating my skills and eventually looking forward to growth after discovering oneself. Then shared one common pattern that was happening about graduates which was lack of experience in working field and that’s why the GPAP program was introduced to close that gap. His discussion was really insightful and also encouraged us to be all around learning and connect with the different departments to maximize the opportunity.

After lunch we accompanied the Team to the client engagement ,where they were working to close the deal with Konnect initiatives which was a success. Being present during the process was valuable learning experience. Observed how professionals approach client interactions, present ideas and collaborate as a team to bring meaningful partnerships . It was a moment that introduced me to the practical side of business development and professional communication.

After the client meeting we headed back to the hub, where we were taken on a tour around the facilities of the hub. One of the fascinating aspects of this tour was the different art pieces around the hub with strong images of individuals in our world history with the likes of Steve Jobs ,Albert Einstein and Nelson Mandela . Every art piece was giving light on growth, creativity, innovation and togetherness. By the end of the day I left the hub energised, inspired, and grateful for the opportunity to be part of an innovative environment and center of excellence.

 My first day was not only about the introductions and learning,it was the beginning of a journey filled with positivity, purpose, growth and pursuit for greatness and excellence.
